Joe Flacco signing autographs at Spring training, just a few blocks from my place. My Dad used to take us to Baltimore Colts training there back in the day.

My friend Laura's new Michael Kelly F-model with my trusty Samick. I keep newbies for a few days to install new strings and super-tune the bridge. I often have to loosen the eight strings, slide the bridge by millimeters up or down, tune-up and test the twelfth-fret harmonics four or five times until I'm satisfied. When you try a G Major chord and hear that harp-like resonance, it's good to go.

Playing a wide variety of tunes including the Marine's Hymn and Anchors Away on fiddle and mandolin. Great fried chicken too!

Courtesy of Timna Shaw, this shot of the group en masse, my fiddle student Hayden on the left. I wish I could have done this at his age; I probably was home watching Gilligan's Island and eating Cheerios.

This little firecracker does not have to be told to practice! Her bowing technique is the envy of all beginners. She's starting 4th grade with 140 hours of violin instruction already. My weekly one-hour sessions give me the time to allow my students to really know their key signatures.

Of course, Mr. Banjo is naturally the loudest of the bunch (when unamplified).
Violin decided to skip this meeting.
